Job Title : Senior Research Engineer (Cyber Security)

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Chief Investigator Office and project management office for Research & Development of Cyber Security Capability Maturity (CSCM) Model, Cyber Security Maturity Assessment Framework and Methodology, and Develop Capability Maturity Indicator Levels.
  • Provide thought leadership and technical leadership in a research environment to lead the associate researchers.
  • Research and Develop CSCM Metrics, Measurement models, Methodology and Standardize CSCM model.
  • Research and Develop sector specific Vertical CSCM models w.r.t to Sector Specific, Specific to Indian threat Landscape, Sector specific Technology usage, Risk Profiles specific to sectors.  
  • Write/Develop Security Technology Implementation Guides to benchmark the security posture of the Critical Infrastructure organization.  
Eligibility

  • Post Doctorate / PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree with research experience in Cybersecurity
  • Minimum 5 years of cyber related research experience in capability maturity model/ Cyber Resilience of Critical Infrastructure Entities
  • Passionate, self-motivating, research Oriented, expert level Cyber Security researcher & professional to work in Cybersecurity RD&E Projects of National Importance.
  • Demonstrated leadership in directing and conducting research efforts in Cyber Security Capability Maturity Models, Frameworks, Industry Best Practices and Standards
  • Ability to do independent research, as well as to work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Strong understanding of Industry Standards/frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, GDPR, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS etc.
  • Familiarity with different Capability Maturity Models such as NIST CSF, CMM, C2M2 etc.
  • Team player, confident, independent and enthusiastic
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written/verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level audiences
Desirable

  • Prior Research on Capability Maturity Model(s) for Critical Infrastructure Entities.

Travel
  • As and when required, across the country for project monitoring and execution as well as for coordination with geographically distributed teams
